How to Get More Sleep & Level Up Your Life

Never once did I rest in a bed while playing Fallout 3.  Resting to recover health seemed really stupid when all I had to do was kill everyone in my path and take items from their lifeless carcasses to heal myself.

Sadly, when it came to my own sleep in real life, I never took it seriously either.

Sleep may be one of the most important tools we can use on our quest for fat loss, muscle gain, or living a more overall healthy life.  Yet, many of us get less than sufficient sleep and then pound 5 Hour Energy, coffee(s), or Monster/Red Bull all day just to get us to five o’clock.

The Holy Grail of Weight Loss

The “magic” food question is among the top five questions I am asked as a fitness coach. Everyone is looking for that one food that “Alakazam” and “poof” makes all the fat disappear off their back, abs, and arms overnight.

Kevin Spacey and the 1% Rule

If you read my previous post, you know that I once aspired to become the next Hollywood star.  If you asked me to name one actor whom my generation of men revered more than any other, it would be Kevin Spacey.  Mr. Spacey owned every character whose shoes he stepped in.  His performances, still to this day, grab you by your balls and demand unfaltering attention.

His career has been full of awards and accolades not to mention inspiring many of the men I knew in college to pursue a career in acting.  This year he won his first Golden Globe for his portrayal of Frank Underwood in the Netflix series House of Cards.  At his acceptance speech, Kevin said something that took me by surprise. And no, it is not his use of the “F” word.
